Fossie first got into CrossFit whilst recovering from a broken knee in a skiing accident. Having always been fit and active (tennis, football, skiing and regular member of globo gym) Fossie wanted to do something that would get him stronger and fitter once he had recovered from his injury. As soon as a box opened up in Fossie’s hometown of Norwich, he went to check it out. He admits his first work out was a shock, but that “it hurt so good!” “I was shaking, and had to lie down for 10 minutes, but it felt great– I knew I was hooked.”
Since then, Fossie’s passion for CrossFit has grown, completing his Level 1 in 2016. He loves coaching and enjoys the buzz when the athletes smash a workout, or get their first pull-up, muscle up, or PB.
Fossie captained a CFA team at Tribal Clash in 2015, and hopes to enter more competitions in the future. If you don’t find Fossie at home, he’ll be walking the dogs, playing football or tennis, training or coaching at CFA!
